Motorboats of the "Light" series from "KOLIBRI" are keelboats, which are made of five-layer PVC with a density of 950 g/m2. They are equipped with a bottom flooring made of 9 mm moisture-resistant plywood of the "book" type. With such a design, "Light" has several advantages. Firstly, the weight is reduced by 7-8 kg compared to traditional keelboats. Secondly, easy and quick assembly and disassembly due to the lightweight floorboard.
The boat's hull has a unique shape, smoothly tapering to the bow with hemispherical stern cylinders. This allowed to increase the length of the cockpit by 17-20 cm compared to traditional boats. Another advantage of "Light" is welding of the main units on high-frequency welding units, movable benches, monolithic support of the transom fastening, plywood or fiberglass composite transom, full-size oar group with adjustable collet coupling of oars.
