The oar coupling is designed to complete the oars of the KOLIBRI inflatable rowing boats. Since 2015, this coupling has been included in all series of rowing boats, except for the K-280ST model. The coupling is a plastic body part consisting of two components fastened with two screws with locknuts. In addition to the mounting holes, it has two holes when assembled. One hole, 10.2 mm in diameter, is designed to fit the oar onto a stainless steel oarlock rod with a diameter of 9.9 mm, the second hole, 35 mm in diameter, is for installation on the oar holder. The small oar coupling is movable and can be installed on the oar holder in a place convenient for the rower.
The coupling can be installed as follows:
- loosen the coupling fastener by unscrewing the connection;
- put the coupling on the oar handle;
- set the oar coupling in the right place, symmetrically to the pair oar;
- securely tighten the coupling fastener with a screwdriver.
To install this coupling, you do not need to drill a hole in the oar holder or use a rivet gun.
When replacing elements of Kolibri inflatable boats, use only original spare parts.
